English: Norwegian Folktales, a collection of Norwegian folktales and legends by Peter Christen Asbjørnsen and Jørgen Moe, published in Copenhagen 1896.
  • This second illustrated edition is known as the "Huldrebindet", after the picture of the Huldra on the front page.
  • The first illustrated edition (from 1879) is known as the "nissebindet", after the Nisse pictured on it.
Norsk bokmål: Asbjørnsen og Moes Norske folke- og huldreeventyr. Andet oplag fra 1896 (første opplag kom i 1879). Gyldendalske Boghandels Forlag, Kjøbenhavn.
  • På gullrammen rundt illustrasjonen står det Alf Hartvig og Chr. Danielsen.
  • Verket er i to bind, det er likt omslag på begge: rikt dekorert shirtingbind.
    • Bind I: Norske Folke og Huldre-eventyr i udvalg ved P. Chr. Asbjørnsen.
    • Bind II: Eventyrbog for Børn. Norske folkeeventyr af P. Chr. Asbjørnsen og Jørgen Moe.
